Olive Family Medicine Center has been delivering comprehensive family medical care for all ages in the community. The office delivers many services onsite for the convenience of their patients and are now adding 3D screening mammography.

Mt. Olive Family Medicine Center was founded in 1970 by Dr. Hervy Kornegay and Dr. Robert Shackleford with the goal of offering comprehensive family medical care for all ages including on-site laboratory and radiology services. By 1997 Drs. Kornegay and Shackleford had transitioned the clinic into a non-profit Rural Health Center and in 2002 we constructed our current practice location to 14,500 square feet to allow for continued growth and added services. In 2022, a new wing was added for an expanded Walk-in Clinic, allowing MOFMC to provide acute care services for patients without an appointment.
