Our Services

A customized risk assessment, the latest technology, and convenient location offer peace of mind and greater compliance.

A win/win for patients and providers.

Personalized Risk Assessments

Onsite Women’s Health provides a personalized breast cancer risk assessment to develop a customized care plan. Using statistical models that incorporate various elements of each patient’s health history, the assessment allows patient and physician to calibrate a screening paradigm to better manage patient-specific risk.

Genetic testing allows more detailed levels of risk assessment. For some patients a more in-depth genetic screen provides valuable information for a more accurate assessment.

DAVID G. CARMICHAEL

“Our practice once performed in-house mammograms ten years ago. We decided to research options for offering screening mammography again. After meeting with Onsite, we were immediately attracted to the model they presented. Without any capital investment or additional staffing, our office could implement top-of-the-line 3D mammography screening services within a very short time frame.”

Comprehensive Mammography Services

Onsite recommends an annual 3D mammogram for all patients for every woman over age 40 and for younger women based on their personal risk assessment.

The detail rendered by 3D mammography allows a more thorough evaluation of the breast tissue, increasing breast cancer detection and decreasing false positives.

If an abnormality is detected during a screening mammogram, or if there’s a symptomatic area of concern, a diagnostic evaluation is obtained. This can consist of additional mammographic images and/or a breast ultrasound: the radiologist uses the necessary tools to decide if the area in question is suspicious or not. It’s not unusual for women to be called back for a diagnostic mammogram after their first screening mammogram. It’s also more common for women with dense breasts.

Automated Breast Ultrasound

Women with dense breast tissue are at greater risk of breast cancer. Unfortunately, dense breast tissue also makes it more difficult to detect breast cancer mammographically. Given this, automated breast ultrasound is an integral part of breast care delivery necessary for this patient population.

In conjunction with the risk assessment software that identifies patients with dense tissue at the time of mammography, patients can receive the full complement of screening services without having to leave your office.
