Breast Cancer Risk Assessment

At Onsite Women’s Health, breast cancer screening is about more than completing a mammogram. It is about helping patients and providers better understand an individual woman’s breast cancer risk and use that information to support the right next step in care.
For partner practices that elect to include this service, Onsite offers a Tyrer-Cuzick Version 8 lifetime breast cancer risk assessment program as part of our breast cancer screening platform, powered by WhiteRabbit’s WRRisk technology.
How It Works
During the screening visit, patients complete a guided, tablet-based risk assessment intake with support from the Onsite team. The assessment captures key personal and family history information used to estimate breast cancer risk.
Unlike a standalone questionnaire, the Onsite risk assessment program is designed to incorporate multiple pieces of information from the screening experience, including:
- Patient-provided personal and family health history
- Real-time breast density assessment
- The final radiologist’s interpretation
- Tyrer-Cuzick Version 8 risk modeling
Together, this creates a more complete, patient-specific breast cancer risk profile.
Patient-Specific Risk Scorecard
After the assessment is completed, patients receive a personalized risk scorecard that helps summarize their individual breast cancer risk information in a clear, understandable format.
This scorecard can support informed conversations between the patient and her healthcare provider about screening frequency, supplemental imaging, genetic counseling or other follow-up considerations when appropriate.
Supporting Earlier Detection and More Personalized Care
Annual mammography remains the foundation of breast cancer screening. Risk assessment adds another layer of information, helping identify patients who may benefit from additional discussion or a more personalized screening plan based on their individual risk factors.
By integrating risk assessment directly into the mammography visit, Onsite helps make this process easier for patients, more actionable for providers, and more consistent across participating partner practices.
